Ceramic beads, also known as ceramic media, ceramic bead blasting media, or ceramic blasting beads, are high-tech blasting media made of high quality zirconia powder via melting in an electric furnace under high temperature over 2000 degrees. These beads are distinguished by their no iron polution, high hardness, good elasticity and smooth surface. It is especially noted that Ceramic Beads blasting media can be recycled multiple times.
The main advantage of Ceramic Beads lies in its excellent functionality in both Dry and Wet sandblasting equipment. They are mainly used for blast cleaning, deburring, removing oxide layers of castings and forging parts, metal surface finishing, and pretreatment before coating and plating.
